Introducing Form Requests: Take Song Requests Before Your Event Even Starts!

We’re thrilled to announce one of our most requested features: Form Requests! Now, DJs and event hosts using RequestNow can collect song requests days or even weeks in advance—making it easier than ever to curate the perfect playlist before the event even begins.

Why Form Requests?

We heard you loud and clear—you wanted a way to gather song requests ahead of time to ensure your event’s music lineup is set before guests arrive. This feature allows you to send out a pre-request form as soon as you create an event, giving guests the chance to submit their favorite songs in advance. No more scrambling for requests last minute!

How It Works

• Each event you create will automatically include a pre-request form.
• You can find the link and QR code for this form on the event card within your Events tab and in Live View settings.
• Share this form with guests as soon as you like—even if your event is days away.
• When a guest submits a song request through the form, it will be displayed in Live View with a Form tag to indicate it came in before the event.

Live View IntegrationOnce the event is live, pre-requested songs will appear just like real-time requests but with a Form tag so you can easily differentiate them. If a guest also requests the same song live during the event, it will be marked as Guest + Form Requested.For organization, Form Requests will sort to the bottom of your list in Live View, but you can star them to move them to the top and prioritize them as needed.What Happens When the Event Goes Live?On the day of the event, the pre-request form will update to notify guests that the event is now live.
